MBIT Laboratory Participates in the Organization of ISBMIS’26
On July 31, the International Symposium on Biological, Materials and Information Sciences 2026 (ISBMIS’26), together with the Symposium on the Development of Instrument Science and Technology, was held at the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, University of Science and Technology of China.
Jointly organized by the School of Biomedical Engineering and the School of Engineering Science, the event was actively supported by Prof. Ronald X. Xu and related teams. Researchers and industry experts from China and abroad gathered in Suzhou to discuss scientific innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration in the era of artificial intelligence.
The symposium featured three sessions focusing on AI + Biomedical and Health Engineering, AI + Materials Science and Engineering, and AI + Talent Development and Academic Collaboration. Members of the MBIT Laboratory contributed to the organization and participated in discussions on organ-on-a-chip technologies, biomanufacturing, micro- and nanofabrication, intelligent healthcare, and international collaboration.
The symposium strengthened connections between the MBIT Laboratory and researchers worldwide, while creating new opportunities for integrating artificial intelligence with biomedical engineering, materials science, and instrument technology.
