On April 13, 2024, MBIT Lab hosted a dynamic group activity followed by the lab's April  meeting, promoting team cohesion and productivity. Activities included Poker games, Frisbee throwing, park walks, and an outdoor barbecue.

    Led by Student Committee President Shilu Zhu, team members enjoyed recreational games and a delicious barbecue, fostering camaraderie and relaxation.

    Following the activity, the team convened for the lab’s April meeting at a nearby company. Professor Xu welcomed new members and briefed the group on recent scientific advancements and lab management. Ms. Xiaomin Zhang reiterated procurement and reimbursement procedures. Dr. Min Ye and Dr. Ru Zhang addressed management and safety of the cell culture room. Outstanding performers were recognized: Liang Chen and Zhihao Liu awarded the "Star of the Month," while Jicheng Liu, Hui Liu and Zheng Zhang were awarded " Star of Scientific Research". In the end, delicious cakes were prepared for the students who had birthdays in April, and their birthdays were celebrated by sending blessings to them.

     The event not only strengthened team bonds but also provided a platform for learning and communication, enhancing the lab's research endeavors.
