2025 MBIT Lab Spring Team-Building in Zhouzhuang

On March 29-30, 2025, MBIT laboratory held its annual spring team-building event in Zhouzhuang, Suzhou—a historic water town renowned for its classic Jiangnan charm.

The event began with Professor Xu’s monthly progress meeting. He encouraged the team to maximize the lab’s state-of-the-art resources through focused dedication and proactive collaboration, stressing that consistent effort is key to achieving impactful outcomes. He also outlined clear expectations for thesis milestones and graduation requirements, ensuring alignment across all members. The meeting continued with the recognition of the "Star of the Month" and "Academic Excellence Awards," followed by a group birthday celebration.

Guest lectures by Professor Majid (University of Technology Sydney) and Ms. Cheng (BaceCare Co.) further enriched the event, sparking cross-disciplinary dialogue.

Following the meeting, participants shared a lively dinner together. As night fell, the town illuminated with glowing lanterns, creating a magical ambiance. Small groups strolled through the ancient streets, admiring the uniquely charming nightscape of the historic town.

This team-building successfully combined academic collaboration, team recognition, and cultural appreciation, fostering stronger connections and renewed energy for our research goals.
